1. General provisions

    1. These Terms of Use govern the use of the website teeviit.ee/youth-info (hereinafter: Website).
    2. The Terms of Use are available at teeviit.ee/youth-info/en/terms-of-use/
    3. The owner of the Website is the Estonian Education and Youth Board (Harno) (Lõõtsa 4, 11415 Tallinn)
    4. The user of the Website (hereinafter: Visitor) is each person who visits the Website.
    5. The Website is developed and maintained by Web Design Agency OÜ based on the contract signed with Harno.
    6. By using the Website, the Visitor confirms that he or she has read, understands and fully accepts these Terms of Use.
    7. For the purposes of the Terms of Use, the use of the Website includes opening, using, sharing or otherwise processing the Website teeviit.ee/youth-info.
    8. The content of the Website is free of charge for the Visitor to use.
    9. The Website www.teeviit.ee/youth-info is regularly updated with content, and new services are developed, so the Terms of Use are subject to change. Visitors will be notified in the manner specified in clause 8.
  1. Liability for content and services

    1. The team on the Teeviit youth info portal is liable for the quality of the content they create and the services they provide.
    2. Any content of the Website which has been developed by third parties (cooperation partners) has been designated as such on the respective site.
    3. The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. The Website has no control over the services, content and privacy policies of third-party websites and is not liable for them. In accordance with this document, you also accept and agree that the Education and Youth Board is not liable, either directly or indirectly, for any damages that may arise from the use of third-party websites. It is advisable to read the terms of use and privacy policies of all third-party websites visited.
    4. The team on the portal is not liable for any direct or indirect damages that could arise for the Visitor when reading the information published on the Website or using the services provided. The team on the portal is not required to compensate for any damages arising from the content of the Website or the services provided.
    5. The team on the portal has done everything possible to ensure that the information provided on the Website is accurate and complete, but the correctness of the information is still not guaranteed, and no liability is taken for the potential consequences of the use of such information.
    6. The Website is used according to the “as is” principle. The owner of the Website will not give any guarantees about the content of the Website or the information contained therein.
    7. The owner of the Website is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Website even if the owner of the Website was aware of the error on the Website. The restriction on liability specified in this clause will not apply if the damages arising from the use of the Website were caused by the owner or administrator of the Website intentionally or due to gross negligence.

    1. We collect general information about the Visitor at each visit. We use cookies to collect anonymous and general statistics about the number of visitors of the Website and the use of the Website in order to make the Website better and even more user-friendly.
    2. The Website has the right to store information about the Visitor’s browser, as well as the IP address, cookie information and the pages the Visitor has visited.
    3. The team on the Teeviit youth info portal collects information for the following purposes:
      • in order to shape the content accordingly;
      • in order to provide the Visitor with the specific high-quality products and services they have requested;
      • in order to improve our services.
    4. In collecting information, the team on the portal only collects the minimum amount of information that we need to provide a high-quality service to the Visitor.
    5. The team on the portal has the right to provide information about a user to law enforcement bodies:
      • if the matter concerns the investigation or prevention of illegal activities and potential fraud;
      • if the matter poses a potential threat to the physical safety of any person;
      • if the matter constitutes a violation of the terms;
      • for any other legally required purpose.
    6. The team on the portal retains the right to send notifications about the portal’s services to the Visitor if the Visitor has requested to receive such notifications by filling in a relevant form. Notifications are responses to the questions asked in the form, as well as information sent about signing up for an event, etc.

  1. Confidentiality and security

    1. The Visitor’s personal data is protected by physical, electronic and procedural security measures according to the procedure provided for by law.
  1. Obligations of the Visitor

    1. The team on the portal has the right but not the obligation to review the materials made available by the Visitor to others on the Website. The compliance of the materials with the Terms of Use of the Website may be verified, as well as whether the Visitor’s activity is indecent, in violation of the law or otherwise inappropriate, or whether the materials made available by the Visitor pose a risk to the Website and/or those not involved. The punishment for the violation of this clause of the Terms of Use may include a warning, the removal of the improper material, and in cases provided by law, the forwarding of the relevant information to law enforcement bodies.

    1. The Website retains the right to change its content and identification, use, technical specifications, systems, opening hours, etc.
  1. Term of validity of registration, and termination of participation

    1. The team on the portal has the right to terminate the Visitor’s participation immediately after the Visitor violates the Terms of Use.
  1. Amendment of the Terms of Use

    1. We retain the right to amend the Terms of Use if necessary, by notifying the Visitors thereof on the Website.
    2. Amendments or additions to the Terms of Use presented herein will take effect one month after the new Terms of Use are made available to users by the Website (by sending a notice containing the new Terms of Use of by publishing the Terms of Use). If, during this period, the Visitor does not notify of his or her wish to terminate the participation under clause 7 above, the Visitor is deemed to have accepted the new Terms of Use.
    3. In any matters not covered by the Terms of Use, valid legislation and practice will serve as a basis.
