Vaatamata sellele, et P\u00e4\u00e4steamet viib l\u00e4bi erinevaid kampaaniaid, koolitab noori ning jagab n\u00f5u erinevatel info- ja ohutusp\u00e4evadel, on uppunute arv siiski k\u00fcllaltki k\u00f5rge. P\u00e4\u00e4steameti strateegia n\u00e4eb ette, et aastaks 2025 on Eestis uppunuid alla 20.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uppumine on j\u00e4tkuvalt m\u00e4rkimisv\u00e4\u00e4rselt suur \u00fclemaailmne terviseprobleem ning peamine puude ja surma p\u00f5hjustaja laste seas. Eesti puhul on v\u00f5imalik veel eraldi statistikaga toetada fakti, et paljud vee\u00f5nnetused on juhtunud ka alkohoolsete jookide tarbimisel ning seda just eakate sihtr\u00fchmas. Nii keskendubki P\u00e4\u00e4steamet sel kevadel oma veeohutuskampaanias just eakatele ja sellele, mida saavad l\u00e4hedased \u00e4ra teha \u00f5nnetuste v\u00e4ltimiseks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Miks juhtuvad \u00f5nnetused?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Vee\u00f5nnetused juhtuvad tavaliselt erinevate eksimuste ja halbade asjaolude kokkusattumisel. L\u00e4hemal vaatlusel selgub, et inimesed otsekui kordavad samu vigu ja stsenaariume, mist\u00f5ttu on oluline r\u00e4\u00e4kida p\u00f5hjustest ja v\u00f5imalustest, kuidas on vee\u00f5nnetustesse sattumine v\u00e4lditav. Esmaselt on vaja aru saada, et meie k\u00f5ige pisemad vajavad t\u00e4iskasvanute j\u00e4relevalvet, mistahes veekogus. T\u00e4iskasvanu kohus on tagada vee \u00e4\u00e4res k\u00e4itumise \u00fcldised reeglid ja n\u00e4idata varakult eeskuju. Ohukohad on nii kodune tiik kui ka veekeskused, t\u00e4ispuhutavad m\u00e4nguasjad ja v\u00e4hene ujumisoskus. Seega oluline m\u00e4rks\u00f5na on ohutu k\u00e4itumine veekogus ja ohutu ujumine. Kuidas seda siis tagada?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et vees olemine oleks meeldiv, tuleb m\u00f5elda oma ujumisoskusele. Seda, kuidas keegi enda ujumisoskust hindab, on v\u00e4ga individuaalne ja ujumisoskuse vale hindamine v\u00f5ib viia ka \u00f5nnetusteni.&nbsp; Tihtipeale saab vee \u00e4\u00e4res kuulda, kuidas keegi r\u00e4\u00e4gib kui kaua ta vee all hinge kinni suudab hoida v\u00f5i kui pikki vahemaid ta n\u00e4iteks basseinis j\u00f5udis ujuda. Seet\u00f5ttu on oluliseks m\u00e4rks\u00f5naks mitte oma ujumisoskust \u00fclehinnata. Iga veekogu k\u00e4itub erinevalt ja hakkamasaamine basseini soojas ja kontrollitud vees ei pruugi olla sama, mis avaveekogus. Seet\u00f5ttu tuleb ujumiseks valida selleks etten\u00e4htud koht. K\u00f5ige turvalisem on selleks valida avalik supelrand, kuid kui selleks ei ole v\u00f5imalust, siis on oluline j\u00e4lgida, et ujumine oleks ohutu. V\u00e4ltida tuleks neid kohti, kus vesi \u201ckukub\u201d ehk looduslikud joad v\u00f5i inimeste poolt rajatud tammid. Sellistes kohtades on ohtlikud nii \u00fclesvoolu j\u00e4\u00e4vad osad; oht vooluga kaasa minna ja k\u00f5rgelt kukkuda teadmata, mis p\u00f5hjas ees ootab; oht sattuda veekeerisesse, kust inimene ei saa enam iseseisvalt v\u00e4lja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samuti on t\u00e4htis teada, et vette ei ole vaja h\u00fcpata, sinna tuleks minna. Oluline on ka meeles pidada, et ujuma ei tohiks minna ei t\u00e4isk\u00f5huga ega ka \u00fclekuumenenuna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00dcldine reegel on see, et ujumine ja alkohol ei k\u00e4i kokku. Seega kui m\u00e4rkad alkoholijoobe tunnustega inimest veekogu \u00e4\u00e4res, tuleks kindlasti sekkuda. Probleem seisneb selles, et joobes inimese koordinatsioon on h\u00e4iritud, millest annab m\u00e4rku ka tema k\u00f5nnak maal. Juhul kui inimene otsustab alkoholijoobes ujuma minna, v\u00f5ib tekkida olukord, kus vett ja \u00f5hku hingatakse pooleks ja tekib k\u00f5ri spasm. Tulemuseks l\u00e4mbumine ja veekogu p\u00f5hja vajumine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uppumine v\u00f5ib olla ka teisene tagaj\u00e4rg, millele eelneb tegelikult terviserike. Just eakad inimesed peaksid m\u00f5tlema oma tervislikule seisundile. Seda nii kodutiigist kastmiseks vett v\u00f5ttes kui ka n\u00e4iteks kalastades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ohutu paadis\u00f5it<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisaks eelnevale on oluline meelde tuletada, et vest p\u00e4\u00e4stab veest! Nii on oluline n\u00e4iteks paadiga s\u00f5itma minnes panna selga p\u00e4\u00e4stevest, ja seda juba maal olles. Kui peaks juhtuma halvim ning paat \u00fcmber minema, on vesti juba v\u00e4ga raske selga saada- takistuseks saavad nii ehmatus, vee tihedus kui ka raskendatud koordinatsioon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>R\u00e4\u00e4kides p\u00e4\u00e4stevestist on olulised kaks asja: esmalt tegemist on p\u00e4\u00e4stevahendiga, mille \u00fclesandeks on inimkeha vette sattudes pinnal hoida ning teine oluline m\u00e4rks\u00f5na on see, et p\u00e4\u00e4stevest peab keerama vees oleva inimese selili. Miks me sellest r\u00e4\u00e4gime on see, et tihtipeale paadilaenutuste pakutakse ka teist liik veste, mille eesm\u00e4rgiks ei ole p\u00e4\u00e4sta, vaid tagada lihtsalt teatud m\u00e4\u00e4ral ohutus. P\u00e4\u00e4stevesti eristab krae ning seljaossa ulatuv ujuk, mist\u00f5ttu on see v\u00f5imeline inimest \u00fcmber p\u00f6\u00f6rama vees. Vest peab olema kandjale paras ning kui minnakse kogu perega paati v\u00f5iks olla vest seljas ka t\u00e4iskasvanutel. Lapsesuu ei valeta ja tihtipeale tuleb v\u00e4lja, et laps on rohkem teadlik ohutusest kui vanem ja on palunud t\u00e4iskasvanul samuti vesti selga panna. Kui siis vastata, et ma oskan h\u00e4sti ujuda ja mulle ei ole vaja, siis tekitame olukorra, kus anname v\u00e4ga halba eeskuju&nbsp; ja paneme ka teised paadisolijaid \u00f5nnetuse korral ohtu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisaks p\u00e4\u00e4stevarustusele tuleks paadiga s\u00f5itma minnes meeles pidada, et paati ei tohi \u00fclerahvastada ning riietuda tuleb vastavalt ilmale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Suviste ilmade ja t\u00e4naste \u00f5nnetuse valguses tuletab P\u00e4\u00e4steamet veelkord meelde:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Kui jood, \u00e4ra uju! Alkoholijoove on peamiseks meeste uppumise p\u00f5hjuseks. 2018 suvel uppunutest olid kolmandik purjus suplejad. Ohtlikuks osutub ka n\u00f5rk joove ja pohmell. Alkoholi tarvitanu v\u00e4sib kiiresti, lisaks tekivad reflektoorsed s\u00fcdamevereringes\u00fcsteemi talituse h\u00e4ired. Kiiresti v\u00f5ib tekkida alajahtumine ja j\u00e4semete verevarustus v\u00f5ib j\u00e4rsult halveneda.<\/li><li>Hoia silm peal! Alati on kindlam minna ujuma koos s\u00f5bra v\u00f5i pereliikmega, kellega saate teineteist j\u00e4lgida ja vajadusel abi kutsuda. Kindlasti ei tohi \u00fcksi ujuma lasta lapsi, kes n\u00f5rga ohutunnetuse t\u00f5ttu on altimad \u00f5nnetustesse sattuma.<\/li><li>Vali ujumiseks selleks etten\u00e4htud koht! Tihti minnakse ujuma tugeva lainetusega merre v\u00f5i kiirevoolulisse j\u00f5kke. Samuti v\u00f5ib tundmatus kohas sattuda veekeeristesse v\u00f5i veekasvudesse. Palju vigastusi juhtub vette h\u00fcppamisel selleks mitte etten\u00e4htud kohtadest (nt sillad, muulid). Meeles peab pidama, et kohtades, mis ei ole ujumiseks ette n\u00e4htud, v\u00f5ib leiduda veealuseid poste, kive, k\u00e4nde ja muud. Samuti v\u00f5ib p\u00f5hi olla reostatud teravate ja ohtlike esemetega (nt klaastaara). K\u00f5ige turvalisem on ujuda ametlikus rannas vetelp\u00e4\u00e4stjate silma all.<\/li><li>Uju kalda l\u00e4hedal ja nii, et jalad alati p\u00f5hja ulatuks!
