An important meeting or performance may evoke a similar reaction in the body.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>How does anxiety manifest?\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anxiety is often accompanied by palpitations, the feeling of suffocation and heaviness in the chest. There may be shortness of breath, difficulty swallowing, abdominal cramps, nausea and diarrhoea.
