ADULT CARE

The adults accompanying young people do not get left out of attention! The adults will have a separate area, where they can participate in different workshops and discussions, get career advice and consult with the EURES counseller regarding working abroad. Career counselling is being offered by the Unemployment Insurance Fund on both days of the fair!

We discuss what are the main questions and issues that young people have while implementing their ideas and how can young people be supported with their ideas.  Young people, who have already implemented some of their ideas, have been invited to the discussion.

In the EURES workshop we introduce, how to find job offers in other European countries through the European-wide EURES labor mediation network, and how to compile application documents.  Life and working conditions in other European countries, what to keep in mind before going to work abroad. Useful contacts related to finding a job in the European Union and European Economic Area countries, where to turn to when you get work-related problems abroad.

In the workshop we discuss the innovative approach on applying jobs. How to make yourself more prominent? What kind of a CV does catch the attention? What to do when the CV does not sell? Formal, creative, portfolio-based, results-presenting and practical applying.
